Yakers Original Dog Chew

Description

YAKERS find their origin in the hills of the Himalayas. Originally made for human consumption, they are still widely eaten by the Himalayan people and their dogs. YAKERS are made from a mix of skimmed Yak and cows milk. A very small amount of lime juice and salt is added to coagulate (harden) the milk, which is then compressed into blocks and smoke dried for 28 days to give the chew their unique flavour. Preservative and gluten free, rich in protein and calcium, vegetarian, helps fight plaque and tartar.

YAKERS dog chews are a perfectly healthy and tasty treat for your dog as they are in low in fat at only 5.2%. Best of all they are also gluten-free, extra long lasting, preservative free, vegetarian, rich in calcium and protein with no nasty’s added to ensure they are naturally good for your dog. YAKERS are great for removing plaque and promoting your dog’s oral health.

Suitable for dogs 4 + months onwards, not suitable for dogs under the age of 4 months.

Composition;

Yak and Cow milk (99.9%), Lime Juice, Salt.

No colours, flavours or preservatives.

Analytical Constituents:

Protein 59.2%, Crude Fibres 5.9%, Crude Oils and Fats 5.2%, Crude Ash 0%, Moisture 10%.

Feeding Guide:

Please supervise your pet when feeding YAKERS and always ensure fresh drinking water is available.

Once your dog has enjoyed the YAKERS take the remaining small end piece and place it in a microwave on high for 30 to 60 seconds until it puffs up. Allow to cool, then give it back to your dog to finish the treat.
